Hey guys it's me Vikkstar123...
— Vik's intro.

Vikram "Vik" Singh Barn (born August 2, 1995 (1995-08-02) [age 24]), also known as Vikkstar123, is a YouTube personality and a member of both the Sidemen and The Pack.

Vik is an Indian-British YouTuber from Sheffield. He is considered to be one of the most consistent uploaders in the Sidemen, producing between three and ten videos a day across two YouTube channels (he has two other channels that are currently inactive).

Vik lived in The Sidemen House (alongside Simon, Josh, and JJ) from 2014 to 2018. He is considered one of the most intelligent of the Sidemen, with other members citing him as "an A* student" as he gained a high number of A*s in his GCSEs and 1 A* and 3 As in his A-Levels. He got offered a place at University College London (UCL) to study Natural Sciences but declined the offer to do YouTube instead.

Unlike the other Sidemen, Vik isn't a big fan of FIFA and is best known for specialising in Minecraft and first-person shooter (especially Call of Duty) videos, as well as Grand Theft Auto V. However, more recently Vik has focused primarily on Fortnite.

Vik is part of another group apart from the Sidemen; the group is known as "The Pack", and all their members are Minecraft YouTubers who record with Vik on both of his side channels, but almost never on his main. However, Pack member Lachlan has appeared in Sidemen gaming videos at somewhat frequent intervals since early 2017. Vik has gone on record to say he prefers the Sidemen to the Pack. Vik scored a goal in the 2018 charity football match and claims it was one of the best moments of his life.

In November 2018, Vik moved out of the Sidemen House.

Any jokes targeted at Vik are often related to his Indian ethnicity. Various members of the Sidemen have been known to edit Vik's movements in their videos to make it look as if he is dancing to the same song ("Mundian To Bach Ke").

Much like Ethan and the jokes about his sexuality, Vik is often the butt of many jokes involving his relationship with his viewers (who are believed to be generally pre-pubescent teens). To begin with, other members of the Sidemen were heard saying phrases along the lines of "don't swear, you have dedicated twelve-year-old viewers" or "Vik touches twelve-year-olds". This is mainly due to the fact that his Minecraft channel community is perceived to be mostly full of twelve-year-olds or younger, and partly because some of the Minecraft community has been subjected to paedophilia.

Vik often suffers the most during the majority of the Cards Against Humanity sessions that the Sidemen have. Card creators portray Vik as an extreme paedophile. Although amusing, these jokes are not for people of a sensitive disposition.

Vik is also the butt of jokes about how his parents are "disappointed" because Vik isn't a doctor.

Helmet Boy

In previous GTA videos, Vik has referred to himself as "Helmet Boy", and he lives the "Helmet Boy Origins". In his "Helmet Boy" persona, Vik wears a helmet with no other armour and speaks in an exaggerated Sheffield accent, much like the character "Devvo". He believes that his helmet gives him heightened resistance to attacks in GTA, and he often tests this out with amusing results. The "Helmet Boy" catchphrase was popular in 2014 and 2015.

His persona has been also animated into a 3 part series. Although no sign of Helmet Boy has been seen in the 3rd episode.

Vik was in a relationship with Kayleigh Wordley from 2015 to 2017.

  • Vik's main channel ranks #48 in the most subscribed YouTube channels of the UK and #440 in the world.
  • The Sidemen have joked multiple times that Vik has a brother named Lewis Redman. They have no actual relation.
  • Vik's main channel 'Vikkstar123' was supposed to be called 'Vikstar123' with no extra K; however, this was not available at the time and the new name has stuck ever since.
  • For a number of years in the mid-2010s, Vik sleeping pattern was from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Vik's diss track "THE END - SIDEMEN DISS TRACK REPLY" directed at Deji was put on YouTube on 15 August 2017 (during the Sidemen war), which happens to be the date of India's 71st Independence Day. However, he said that he did not do this on purpose.
  • Vik broke his collar bone during a skiing trip in February 2018, not long after the KSI V Joe Weller fight.
    • In a tweet posted by Josh, he confirmed that after his operation and after Vikk left his trip from France, JJ made him enter in his car. He was asking Vikk if he would want Nandos, he of course accepted the offer. But instead of doing that, JJ swerved around outside the Sidemen House and make Vikk's collar bone smack into the side of his car. His response of that tweet was like always as JJ is a "snitch". He said that he was only rushing to go to Nandos. Vikk eventually debunked this in the "SIDEMEN SPILL YOUR GUTS OR FILL YOUR GUTS" video as It was all true from Josh's part of the story and tweet.
  • Unlike the other Sidemen, Vik uploads gaming videos on his main channel, while four other Sidemen that game consistently (Josh, Simon, Ethan, and Tobi) upload gameplay on their second channels.
  • In the SIDEMEN SPILL YOUR GUTS OR FILL YOUR GUTS Vik said that he has made around two million pounds from Minecraft Servers.
