— TGFbro's bio

TGFbro is a British YouTube channel dedicated to challenges, comedy videos and pranks, created by Jay Swingler and Romell Henry. They have featured members of the Sidemen, such as KSI, in their past videos.

Jay and Romell are also known for their surreal brand of humour, which relies on unusual statements and outlandish situations as well as their brand 'Childish'.

About

Jay and Romell were raised in the town of Dudley in the West Midlands, just outside of Birmingham, England. Jay was born at Wordsley Hospital in West Midlands, and Romell was born in Lisbon, Portugal before moving to Birmingham and then Dudley. Known for their absurd yet highly entertaining content, the duo's first video titled "The Laughter Challenge" was posted in May, 2012.

Prior to this, Jay began uploading Call of Duty content to a channel he had at 12 years old. He later attended Halesowen college to study Photography/Film studies but didn't enjoy it and dropped out to pursue YouTube full-time.

Romell also attended the University of Worcester in 2014.

Currently, their channel has over 5.3 million subscribers and 1 billion views. The duo have also created a unique 'Christmas Calendar'. The Christmas Calendar consists of either 12 or 24 videos for every day of December, and usually include risky challenges.

TGFbro are also known for their extreme videos that have gained attention from news media. Notably, a video called 'I cemented my head in a microwave and emergency services came.. (nearly died)' which involved Jay cementing his head into a microwave and getting stuck while being unable to breath.

They have collaborated with KSI in a video on their channel called NETTLE OLYMPICS, and a video on his channel called SLIP AND SLIDE MOUSETRAP DEATHBALL CHALLENGE. Jay and Romell also played at the 2018 Charity Match on the YouTube Allstars team.
